What a weekend of cricket drama for our first XI, falling agonisingly short of victory by one run!
Since returning from the Christmas break our boys haven't been able to get a win, with this weekend the closest we've come.
Joel Davidson was sensational with the ball, ending the day on figures of 3/27. And when it came to our turn to bat, Jake Lawson (36), Jayden Maddox (29) and Olly D'Sylva (26) were solid contributors.
Hopefully, this means we might be closer to another victory, with Knox Gardens at home this weekend.
