This week we are looking at The Blacksmith
Situated in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges in Belgrave, Victoria, The Blacksmith is a Bakery, Patisserie, Café and Gourmet Burger Bar with a strong reputation for its quality food and beverages and friendly service.
First opened in 2007 and formerly known as Chocolate Sensation they are acclaimed for high-quality cakes and tarts, handcrafted sourdough bread and real butter croissants.
Their coffee beans are roasted locally in Lilydale and the Blacksmith blend was selected to match the quality of their food. A scrumptious breakfast, lunch and dinner menu is sourced from quality local produce including free-range bacon from Bills of Belgrave. Catering for a range of tastes including vegan, allergy specific and gluten-free.
Wedding and birthday cakes made to order are a specialty including the elaborate Croquembouche. Their Head Pastry Chef is happy to work with your requests to make something truly unique for your special occasion and is often able to cater for specific requirements such as vegan, gluten, nut or dairy allergies.
